Children Ministry
The chief aims of our Children ministry is to provide children with a solid but fun introduction to Christ. That means creating a safe but really enjoyable environment. Children are taught all about God and how to build a relationship with Him through the use of traditional Bible stories, arts and crafts, games, and drama.
As we are working with children, safety is a big deal. All safety guidelines set by the Baptist Union are met and we are always working on going above and beyond minimal requirements.
We are sensitive to children from all backgrounds whether that be Christian or Non-Christian. You will find us friendly and fun. Why not come along to one of your meetings to see how we can support you. Meeting times and details of the activities are below.
Come Visit Us: Sunday School
We have two Sunday School classes for children aged 3 to 11 (please see the Youth section if your child is over 11): a class for 3 to 6 years old and another for 7 to 11 years old. Each class is tailored to the age of the children. Each of the Sunday School teachers have worked with children for years and continue to undergo training on working with children. This training includes safety training like first aid but it also includes how to engage the children and tailor the learning to them.
Sunday School runs at the same time as the main Sunday service. If you would like to visit us, please come to Church at 10:30am on a Sunday morning and all the children will leave to go to Sunday School together.
